We Specialise in Special Eyes

Comfort and

Confidence

Visit our Eyewear Fashion Clinic with Carole who will help you to choose eyewear that suits your lifestyle and your personality.

In discussion with you, we can advise what styles will suit you, your prescription and your needs. Ensuring that your spectacles or contact lenses are comfortable, suitable and fill you with confidence in your daily life.

Style and

Fashion

As a fully autonomous business, we source our brands from far and wide with a selection of over 600 frames to try on in the practice and the ability to order specials in.

We can offer everything from vintage to retro, sports to rimless, simple to bejewelled and everything in between.

We take time to look for and source quality brands with new, fresh and unusual styling. We work with manufacturers at the leading edge of technology to bring you a choice of amazing styles and designs.

We also take the aspect of lens designs very seriously, ensuring the best quality there is on offer from manufacturers like Nikon, Zeiss, Hoya, Essilor and Rodenstock. We are not bound to an isolated supplier, but can bespoke to your needs and desires.

Have you been offered, and had special lenses explained to you? These include night driving lenses, reactive and polarised, or the thinnest lenses possible.

Getting it right

Fitting

Once you have chosen your frames, Carole takes time to custom fit them for your prescription. Not only do the frames need to fit you but, also need to ensure that the lenses fit snugly as well.

Wait time for your specs is usually 7 to 10 working days but, we do have a Fast Track Service to rush through time-sensitive orders.

M – NUS

Glasses designed for powerful eyes.

This is a collection of frames created by a designer who had trouble finding frames suitable for her high prescription, in her own words:

“I’m Charlotte Dickinson. I wear -9.5 prescription glasses. Even with the thinnest lenses available, and a tactically chosen pair of frames, my lenses still bulge out making me think they look stupid. So I’ve created a collection that I actually want to wear, and that will fit different face sizes. I hope you love the frames -x-“

We agree her frames are beautiful and hide even the thickest lenses; come in and try for yourself!
